A plane hit a tower in NYC today
...and no-one seemed to react. It was oddly calm. Everyone at worked, well, worked. The local news/talk station were continuing to bash Democrats as they usually do. Planes took off and landed at DFW.
It was a very calm reaction to what turned out to be a relatively minor event compared with 9/11. I would have predicted mass over-reaction, and I was glad to be wrong.
It must be a scary reminder for those affected by the event 5 years ago though.
